Red River - Pollett's Cove Aspy Fault Wilderness Area (c) Government of Nova Scotia |
How well do you know Nova Scotia's Wilderness?
Over the three years of the Giants of Nova Scotia project, I have seen a lot of pictures of trees across Nova Scotia.
In many settings.
Described with names like 'Parks', 'Nature Reserves' and 'Protected Places'.
When I tried to connect all the wilderness pieces -- gotta say -- I was at a loss how they fit together.
So with a lot of help, I set out to understand what 'wilderness' means in Nova Scotia.
REVISED And over the next two weeks (April 12, 2021 to April 23, 2021) on Instagram and Facebook I will share what I have learned.
I hope you will join us and share some of your experiences and insights.
There will be some beautiful photos, a bit of trivia and a contest for some awesome, one-of-a-kind Nova Scotia artwork (see below). And all you have to do to enter is add a comment.
Please join us on the journey!
